Background: The Zann Consortium is a sub-crime syndicate to the Hutt Clan, it was formed and created by Tyber Zann, an influential leader who focused on bribing and buying his way into a large into a huge syndicate that started to be noticed by the Hutt Clan.

Jabba the Hutt was the figure that approached Tyber Zann and offered him a deal of a partnership with Jabba as long as he stayed underneath the Hutt Clan. Tyber Zann agreed to further his own means.

Eventually, Tyber Zann stole an ancient artifact that has sent him to Kessel, but he made sure he hid the artifact from Jabba. He is currently working in the Kessel Mines, while his best friend operates the Zann Consortium from the shadows.
