Background: Black Sun is the biggest criminal syndicate in the galaxy, it has been known for having far more accurate information than Imperial Intelligence, and known for its huge behind-the-scenes influence. They hold plenty of influence on each planet in the Galaxy, however, the further it starts going into other crime syndicates, their intelligence starts to dwindle and become more limited.

Recently, there have been rumors that Black Sun has been using its seemingly limitless resources for something big somewhere in Imperial Space. However, it is unknown what it is, although, most believe it involves the Empire.

The current leader of Black Sun is a Falleen named Prince Xizor, a ruthless businessman and aggressive at getting things done. He wants as much power as he can hold, and Prince Xizor knows more than most that information is knowledge. Therefore, they make their money off of Intelligence, both buying it and selling it to those who are curious to know. As everybody within the Core through Mid Core worlds is generally interested in information, his information brokers have become one of the best in the galaxy.

The Empire tries to follow up those in Black Sun to Prince Xizor, however, they tend to be caught because of their record long before that ever happens.
